Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
3/4 c. cocoa powder
1/2 c. marg. or butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. icing sugar
*** Melt margarine in pot and add cocoa powder; do not boil. Stir in sugar and allow to cool. Mixture will be very thick. Spoon mixture into mixing bowl and add vanilla. Add eggs, once at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture. Beat well. Fold in chocolate chips. Refrigerate 1 hour...
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll in icing sugar until coated. Bake on greased cookie sheets at 350* for 10-12 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen mouthwatering cookies.
+Russell oven: 365* for 18 minutes.
